Overview
Quickstart
One key, three tools - the ten-minute path.
Step 1 - mint your key
Everything runs on one API key, and it starts with pfr_. Sign in with Google at /setup/mcp or /setup/git and click Create my key - it is issued and authorized in the same click. The same key works for the editor, the MCP, the Git Bot and co-presence; you never need a second one.
The key starts on the Free plan. What each plan includes lives on the plans page and in Plans & limits.
Step 2 - pick your surface
- Working in an IDE? Install the MCP - one config block adds the review tools to Cursor, Claude Code or any MCP client.
- Tackling a hard prompt with your team? Open the Prompt Editor - signing in is the setup.
- Want every prompt change reviewed on the PR? Deploy the Git Bot - a GitHub Action in your own CI, no Hosho GitHub App.
- Using Claude Code? Add co-presence and your agent joins you inside the editor.
Set it up with your coding agent
Point it at editor.hoshoai.com/agent-guide - a page written for agents that carries every setup on this site verbatim. The one step it will hand back to you is minting the key: that takes a human with a Google sign-in, by design.
